Importing Completed Files

Before you can import a file in to your LOS you will need to download the loan application from your admin area.
Calyx Point Import Instructions
  • Log into your website admin and save your Borroware Loan File to your local file system (if not already saved).
  • Launch Point (if not already running).
  • Create a new Borrower (if Main Panel not shown, select File->New->Loan->Borrower).
  • Select the New File button on the popup dialog box.
  • Select Menu option: File->Import from->Fannie Mae...
  • Select "All Files" from "Files of Type" drop down
  • Select the saved loan application and click OK.
  • Dialog should appear stating: "File Imported"
Encompass Import Instructions
  • Log into your website admin and save your Borroware Loan File to your local file system (if not already saved).
  • Launch Encompass (if not already running).
  • If the Pipeline tab isn’t the current active tab, click Pipeline.
  • Click the import button within Encompass (at the top of the screen).
  • Select "Fannie Mae 3.x" option
  • Select the saved loan application you decrypted earlier and click OK.
 
 
Common Importing Problems
I imported the loan file into Point but there is no data
This will happen if you import the file in an incorrect format. When you are on Step 4 of the Point importing instructions make sure you selected
Menu option: File->Import from->Fannie Mae...
If you select Menu option: File->Import from->Point For Dos, Point will state that the file imported (even though it did not), and there will be no data.
