POP Settings for Outlook 2003 (Windows)

Receiving Mail
Under the "Tools" menu, select "E-mail Accounts" then choose to add or edit an email account.

The settings are:
User Name (your email address)
Password (your MorSystems password)
Incoming mail (POP3) pop.everyone.net
Outgoing mail (SMTP) smtp.everyone.net

  Note: You must check the "My Server requires Authentication" under the "Outgoing Mail Server" section. Until you complete the Outgoing Server step, your outgoing email will NOT work.  
Sending Mail
Now click on the "More Settings" button.

The settings are:
My outgoing server requires authentication Must be checked
Use same settings as my incoming mail server Must be checked
Alternate SMTP Port (Optional) 2525



Time Out Issues - Outlook/Outlook Express
Third party anti-virus software such as those made by Symantec (Norton), McAfee, et al. may cause Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express to time-out or fail upon checking for new email via POP.
